Vision

The Class of 1969 strives to further develop connections among alumni, classmates and current students, and to strengthen their connections to Prairie View A&M University.

 

Mission

                The mission of Prairie View A&M University Class of 1969, the 2019 Golden Anniversary Class, is consistent and aligned with the university’s mission, which is “dedicated to excellence in teaching, research and service.  It is committed to achieving relevance in each component of its mission by addressing issues and proposing solutions through programs and services designed to respond to the needs and aspirations of individuals, families, organizations, agencies, schools and communities, both rural and urban.”  The Class of 1969 strives to advance this mission by:

  • Enhancing student academic performance and financial stability to assist students to obtain their degree without experiencing undue academic or financial distress.
  • Promoting a lifelong commitment for giving among classmates.
  • Establishing a spirit of loyalty to the university.
  • Cultivating relationships between past, present and future students and the university.
